Conservative Women’s Organisation
The Conservative Women’s Organisation is the national organisation for women in the Conservative Party and has been supporting women into public life since 1919. It helps women become more involved in politics, navigate Party structures, access training and mentoring, and consider opportunities such as standing for public office.
Here in Twickenham, we want to encourage more women to take part in the life of the Conservative Party locally, whether by campaigning, attending events, contributing ideas, taking on Association roles, or simply meeting like-minded people.
CWO members form part of a wider national network, with access to training seminars, policy discussions, networking events, campaign days and support for those interested in becoming councillors, MPs, school governors or taking on other public roles.
Membership of the CWO is free, and you do not need previous political experience to get involved.

If you would like to get involved with CWO activity in Twickenham, attend future events or learn more, please contact us through the Association office.
