Twickenham Conservative Parliamentary Spokesperson, Jonathan Hulley, has met with Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to discuss the Government’s long-term plan for housing.
“There is going to be a real focus on building beautiful, safe, decent and affordable homes in places with high growth potential like in London. But not at the expense of our Green Belt,” says Jonathan. “He reiterated that he wants to see 30 000 new social housing homes built a year to tackle the housing crisis”.
The Conservatives are unambiguously on the side of those who want to protect our Green Belt, unlike Labour who are not.
