Twickenham Conservative activists were out in Mid Bedfordshire to support Festus Akinbusoye, the Conservative candidate in the forthcoming parliamentary by-election.
Jonathan Hulley, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Twickenham, joined the campaign and said: “Great to make it to Mid Bedfordshire earlier today. Best of luck @FestAKINBUSOYE. You will make a brilliant MP!”
Festus Akinbusoye has said that residents in Mid Bedfordshire want an MP who is visible, focused on local priorities and prepared to listen to constituents. That message reflects the importance of active, local campaigning and representatives who are present in their communities.
Twickenham Conservative Association activists regularly support parliamentary and council by-elections across the wider region, helping fellow Conservative candidates by knocking on doors, delivering leaflets and speaking with residents.
By supporting campaigns beyond the constituency, local activists gain valuable experience, build links with neighbouring associations and help strengthen Conservative campaigning across London and the South East.
Thank you to everyone from Team Twickenham who made the journey to Mid Bedfordshire and supported the campaign.
