Is this really the best use of Council contractors’ time and money?
Clearly – as is more than evident from our photo – this street in West Twickenham has long required a pavement replacement or upgrade. So what does your LibDem Council do? Sends out a repair team who can seemingly only repair two slabs, despite there being more than 15 others in a similar or worse state alongside the two it did opt to repair.
If we allow the LibDems to get away with spending our money on such ridiculous operations, it will take years to replace the rest here….. and as for the rest of the borough, don’t hold your breath waiting.
Who in their right mind would be striking a contract to replace two slabs, indiscriminately when two dozen others need to be replaced as well? Can they not control their contractors, or do they not want to?
