Councillor Geoffrey Samuel campaigning for local Hampton residents.

At a recent Transport meeting, residents of graham Road, Longford Close, Ringwood Way and Winifred Road won a major victory after the Council caved in and agreed to Conservative demands for equal treatment which means they will now be able to apply for exemption permits to access Burton's Road.

This follows campaigns by Hampton North Councillor Geoffrey Samuel.

He said:

"For many months I have been campaigning against the hated scheme which has created traffic chaos and argued that the exemption should be extended to these roads too. I am very glad the Council has finally listened."
