After years of campaigning from Councillor Samuel, residents of Hampton are to receive a zebra crossing on Broad Lane.

The crossing will be at the junction with Wensleydale and Nightingale road and works will begin next week.

Residents have long requested this crossing and Councillor Samuel has  dedicated much time to campaigning for it.

Not only will the crossing provide a safe and effective way for residence to cross the road but also have the added benefit of speed reduction on both approaches to the crossing.
